Jon Malone
Technical Assistant
Jon Malone brings many years of radio experience to his position as Tech Assistant at WBHM.
Jon was born in Detroit and raised in Greenville, Alabama. After attending the University of Montevallo, Jon departed for Los Angeles to work in A&R and video production at Motown Records. He soon returned to Birmingham to begin his radio career with stints at Cumulus Media, Cox Radio and Clear Channel.
An accomplished musician and producer, Jon records and tours the world as part of the Birmingham-based hip hop duo Shaheed and DJ Supreme. He also enjoys spending time with his family, collecting vinyl LPs, and working with his non-profit Knowledge Rhythm and Understanding, a foundation established to teach the fundamentals of hip hop culture to children as therapy.
