Bethany Borg is a Birmingham based, award winning violinist. Since she moved to the south about seven years ago, she’s played and toured with numerous groups including local legends Act of Congress.
After spending years in the background, she’s ready to take center stage, showcasing her talent and all that the fiddle can do.
She spoke to WBHM’s Sarah Delia about her new electric violin solo project, Nordik Fire and the struggles she’s endured to get to where she is today. Borg started off by explaining why it’s so important to prove to the world that the violin can do anything the guitar can do — if not better.
