Why I Support WBHM: Sarah Price
Sarah Price has listened to WBHM since she was 5 years old. And for her, “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!” is a wake-up call on Saturdays. It’s how she knows what day of the week it is. If she’s at her parent’s house, she knows she’s overslept if she hears it. When she was a little girl, her parents on weekends told her she could come out of her room when the show came on. She enjoys the program, and so many others on WBHM, including “1A” and “StoryCorps.”
As an adult, WBHM news programs helped her stay connected to her community and her world even as she traveled abroad to France and West Africa. She calls it her moral compass.
