Dan Fulton is a retired teacher who loves to listen to stories from the Southern Education Desk at WBHM.

“It’s very informative and provides me with so much information that I find very valuable,” said Fulton.

Fulton has reasons for listening to the radio beyond any specific story.

“I have been on chemo for several years and so sometimes it’s very hard to look at television or read,” he said. “It affects my vision.  But I can listen.”

Fulton says it’s costly to keep the station on the air, so that is why he donates to WBHM.

“If we want to have quality programming, we want to stay informed, we want to continue our life long learning, we have to support WBHM,” said Fulton.
