Caroline Spears
Community Support Director
Caroline is the Community Support Director at WBHM. She began her journey in public radio as a traffic coordinator in 2016 and learned all there was to public radio traffic, FCC copy regulations, and sponsorship. Her role as Community Support Director focuses on building and maintaining relationships between the station and the local community, whether that be local nonprofits or large corporations. She has led community events at WBHM like the Deliberate Indifference Podcast LIVE event, Evening Edition with Lakshmi Singh, Memories & Milestones, and the annual Tiny Desk: Best of Alabama series.
Caroline is also the Vice President of the Public Radio Association of Development Officers (PRADO) and serves on the UAB Commission on the Status of Professional Success.
