Anna Williams
Development Coordinator
Anna Williams is an educator, audio producer, and writer. She grew up in the suburbs of Birmingham, graduated from Birmingham-Southern College (BSC), and produced the first-ever podcast dissertation to earn her PhD in English from the University of Iowa in 2019.
During grad school Anna interned at Iowa Public Radio, where she produced and co-hosted the podcast Lit City. She has also produced podcasts for Forbes Media and the Queens Memory Project.
Anna has taught writing and audio storytelling courses at BSC, the University of Alabama, Belmont University, and the University of Iowa. After moving all around the country, she's glad to now be settled in Birmingham's North Crestwood neighborhood. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler, and two cats -- Louis and Clawdette.
