What are your hopes for 2025?

With 2024 coming to a close, we have a whole new year to look forward to. What are your hopes for 2025? We put that question to attendees of our recent News and Brews community pop-up.

Paul Cook, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is that we all just have a good time.

Keith Cockrell, a singer songwriter and an author of Birmingham:

I hope for 2025 to get at least five new books out and to hopefully get a little income from it.  That’s not the point. 

Mike Windsor, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is good health for myself and my family.

Carol Windsor, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is continued democracy for this country.

Drew Duncan, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is that someway, somehow we as a people of this country can work our way through our differences regardless of all this political divide, try to find ways to come together a little bit more.

Margaret Sudarshan, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is a continued free and fair democracy.

Justin Schwartz, of Birmingham:

My hope for 2025 is for all of my friends family and colleagues to be happy and healthy for the world to begin to experience more of a compassionate approach to one another. And for those that I serve with developmental disabilities to flourish and thrive and be their best selves and for me to do whatever i can to be of service to them.

My hope for 2025 is to do more civic and community engagements whether through other junior boards or more 5ks for various non-profits.

My hope for 2025 is to be consistent in everything I do and to make sure to give more love to everyone I come across.
