The parents of a former University of Alabama student have filed a wrongful death lawsuit saying the school and Tuscaloosa law enforcement botched the response to the alleged rape of their daughter. Megan Rondini was allegedly raped by a member of a prominent Tuscaloosa family. Rondini’s parents say her treatment by police and university officials plunged her into extreme depression, anxiety and ultimately suicide.
