TopGolf Complex Coming Soon to Uptown
The Birmingham City Council this week cleared the way for construction of a proposed 65,000 square-foot TopGolf complex in Uptown. The council also approved a $1.5 million incentive package to be spread out over the next eight years. TopGolf officials say the building will bring roughly 450 jobs to the city, filled by local residents. But, even though the city council was unanimous in its decision, the location of the complex did raise some questions from council members.
