Monday appears to be the day for same-sex couples in Alabama. Barring action by the U.S. Supreme Court, a federal judge’s ruling will go into effect making Alabama the 37th state to recognize same-sex marriage. One of the most outspoken opponents of the ruling is Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore.
