Ryan Kattner: On Oni Pond

The fearlessly unique and experimental group Man Man is touring after the release of their latest album On Oni Pond. They’ll be playing at Birmingham’s Bottletree on Thursday.

Ryan Kattner is the frontman and founder of the group. He recently spoke with WBHM’s Sarah Delia about the new album, his creative process, and his constant source of inspiration: heartbreak.

He says, despite the welcome reception from fans, writing this particular record turned out to be a creative challenge he wasn’t expecting.
