Segregated High Schools Fact of Life in Coldwater, Miss.

Separate but equal was a legal doctrine in U.S. constitutional law that justified systems of segregation. It seems like a vestige of the past. But new research shows southern schools are increasingly resegregating.

This week, WBHM is airing a series called Segregation Shifts: The New Faces of an Old Problem. Today, we take you to the rural town of Coldwater, Mississippi, where white students attend one high school and black students attend another.
