Tokyo String Quartet

The Tokyo String Quartet has been making music for 41 years and shows no signs of slowing down. Tonight, (9/14) the group plays in Birmingham. Most of the original members are no longer with the group, but violinist Kikuei Ikeda (back row, center) has played with the group for 36 years and tells WBHM’s Michael Krall, his career with the group began with one life-changing phone call…
