Dee Scott starts each day with “Morning Edition” on her commute to work, and “All Things Considered” on the way home. “My radio station never changes in my vehicle,” she says. A lot of her conversations start with “Well, I heard on NPR today …” Scott, who is from Birmingham, says she supports WBHM because she likes the unbiased, thoughtful discussion she hears.
She calls herself a penny-pincher. She’s careful where she spends her money. But she gives every month to WBHM because it’s important to her. “I like to play my small part in this wonderful station.”
