Bomb threats, lawsuits, and in-fighting affected candidate interviews for the Birmingham City Schools Superintendent position yesterday. One candidate was in the middle of answering a question when she and others were asked to vacate the building for safety. Interim BCS Superintendent Larry Contri filed a lawsuit to stop the interview process, but a Jefferson County judge denied that request.
