A year ago Thursday, the former head of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Spencer Collier, publicly accused Gov. Robert Bentley of an affair with a former advisor. A recording surfaced of the governor having a sexually-driven conversation, adding fuel to the scandal. Bentley denies an affair, but the shock waves still reverberate through Alabama politics a year later with an impeachment push and multiple investigations.
