Alabama lottery bill dies in Special Session

After marathon sessions in Montgomery last week, Alabama voters will not have their say on whether to allow a lottery. The proposed Constitutional amendment died Friday (Aug. 26) when Senators voted not to concur with changes made by the Alabama House and give the bill final approval. Don Daily is the host of Capitol Journal on Alabama Public Television, and he joins us whenever the legislature is in session.
