Birmingham Chosen For Community Pilot Program

Birmingham is one of six cities recently chosen for a pilot program designed to strengthen communities and law enforcement’s relationships. Attorney General Eric Holder says the program “reduce bias and support reconciliation in communities where trust has been eroded.”

What does this mean for a city where once there was a great deal of distrust between police and many of the people they served?
