What would make the world safer? What should America’s foreign policy priorities be? They’re not simple questions. They’re meant to spark dialogue. And this week, that discussion comes to Birmingham.
It’s the latest in a national series of town hall meetings sponsored by the Fund for Peace. Last night (6/8) they met at UAB. Tonight (6/9), it’s the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. WBHM’s Tanya Ott spoke with UAB’s Marilyn Kurata and Will Ferroggiaro of The Fund for Peace. He says everywhere they’ve traveled they’ve heard one, underlying theme.
Will Ferroggiaro is with the Washington D.C.-based Fund For Peace. Marilyn Kurata is director of core curriculum enhancement at UAB.
