Guitarist David Starobin has helped redefine the classical guitar repertoire. He’s an advocate of contemporary music and more than three-hundred works have been dedicated to him. He’s also founder of Bridge Records, a small independent label dedicated to contemporary music. On November 17th and 18th, Starobin played two works for guitar with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
