WBHM seeks an enthusiastic individual with a passion for public media to help cultivate community support for WBHM and further organizational awareness through social media platforms.
The person in this position will collaborate with the Director of Community Engagement to develop strategic marketing and social media campaigns. The Marketing Assistant will craft words and images effectively to compose and post online content on WBHM’s website and social media accounts as well as design and write marketing literature (brochures, web banners, newsletters etc.) to augment WBHM’s presence in the market. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, a substantial working knowledge of WordPress, the ability to propose and implement digital marketing campaigns, and be familiar with public radio/television and/or nonprofits.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Sales, English or a related field. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
