New Hope Baptist Church Mass Choir has a rich history of musical ministry around the country. New Hope Mass has traveled extensively to such places as Washington DC, Atlanta, Memphis and abroad in concerts and appearances. They have been afforded opportunities to perform for the Governor of Alabama as well as many other local, state, and national figures. They recorded three projects "I'll Be Singing Up There", "Turn It Over to the Lord" and "Gospel & Grits" which is used by the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau. The choir also traveled to Spain for a series of musical appearances. The choir has performed with such notables as Helen Baylor, Donnie Harper and James Bignon. Currently the choir is under the leadership of Rev. Prince Yelder. The choir's latest recording is "Praise Into Worship".

The Choir performs at the Alys Stephens Center on Sunday, March 5th.
