The recession has forced thousands of displaced office workers to operate from home or public spaces like libraries and cafes. But a new kind of community workspace in Birmingham hopes to free professionals from isolated home-offices to work with other like-minded individuals. Daniel DeVaughn has the story of Shift Workspace.

Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is one of the most beloved books of all time. Adaptations of the novel are well-liked, too. There's the BBC miniseries with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. And the 2005 film, starring Keira Knightley There's even a Mormon adaptation, set in Utah. And a version which features zombies! So, with all those takes on Pride and Prejudice, what's left to do? South City Theatre offers an answer to that question with their stage adaptation of Jane Austen's novel. WBHM's Bradley George spoke with director Kenny Morris.

Blues legend Koko Taylor has died at age 80. Cora Walton grew up in Shelby County, Tenneessee near Memphis and was known as Koko because of her fondness for chocolate. She hit the Chicago blues clubs in the early 1960s and met Willie Dixon who worked with her on the USA label for her first real record, Honky Tonk in 1963. By the mid-80's she was called "Queen Of The Blues" and no one disputed the claim. Her last album Old School came out in 2007 after a seven-year absence from the studio.
