Dave Shy

Dave is WBHM's Underwriting Manager, helping businesses and organizations in their support of the station. Hailing from Athens, GA, he earned his degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia. After spending several years in Atlanta, Dave discovered radio (apologies to Guglielmo Marconi) and returned to Athens where he worked until coming to Birmingham in 2000.

Dave is the proud father of two sons, Adam and Zach, and is engaged to the lovely and talented Betsy Shearron. There are also two girls of the canine persuasion, Kinsey and Katie.
